- **Working Conditions**
Indoor/Outdoor situation as needed; high noise environment while performing certain responsibilities. Lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. alone.
- May also sit at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.Days and times will vary and will include weekends not to exceed 27 hours per week.

**Essential Functions**

Provides consistent quality customer service at all times (by phone or in person), including in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist sales and marketing team with ongoing projects and research.
- Answer incoming calls from customers as needed, assisting them or routing calls appropriately.-
- Assumes security of all equipment products, supplies, etc., within the facility to support special events.
- Responsible for complying with time frames for set-ups, operations and tear downs.
- Quotes prices and services using rate tables; figures discounts if applicable and makes other associated mathematical computations.
- Understands and follows oral and written communications. Communicates clearly and effectively, deals with customers/clients in a tactful and courteous manner.- Performs other related work (including weather or other extreme emergency duties) as required.**Minimum Qualifications**:
High school graduate/equivalent.

Minimum of six months experience in special events setting related to set-up and tear down of events; or experience in a customer service setting; or experience performing administrative functions related to supporting events; or experience in a similar hospitality setting or environment.

Prior experience in customer service is desired.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
Skill in handling multiple incoming calls accurately and courteously

Ability to make accurate mathematical computations, including pricing conclusions using established guidelines and pricing structures.

Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and procedures

Dependable, prompt and present a neat appearance

Ability to handle numerous activities at the same time

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments of the County, agencies and the general public.

Skill in the capacity to understand ideas, wants, facts, instructions, and to analyze them and formulate plans and instructions accordingly.
