Job purpose - This is a 1099 position with the opportunity to make a comfortable income based on your efforts. The average sale is $15K, expectation is to materialize one sale a week = $60K per month = $720K in yearly sales at a 10% commission rate (5% after 72 hours of the contract signing/5% once project completed), with a gross margin goal to be shared.
- The Product Specialist position is a key part of Moderno Porcelain Works. Product Specialists are responsible for business and account development, educating the market on Moderno’s business and solutions provided, representing Moderno at industry events, develop a deep partnership with Moderno’s in house marketing team to leverage the tools available to further penetrate the market, ensure partners have adequate marketing materials that represent Moderno’s current offerings, and lead generation. Note: National Accounts leads will also be attained as the Project Specialist builds solid relationships in their assigned stores, more to come*

Duties and responsibilities
- **Qualify Potential B2B Partnerships**
- Determine customer timeline, budgets, and desired outcomes during a Discovery Call
- Schedule appointments to determine Prospect’s needs and evaluate compatibility with Moderno operations
- Determine compatibility between customers desired Scope of Work and Moderno’s target market
- Attend industry events with Customers and Prospective Customers
- Bring awareness to industry partners of Moderno’s solutions provided
- Plan and execute unique industry events to be hosted at local Moderno Hub
- Follow up with contacts made at industry events to further qualify opportunities for partnership
- Lead Generation
- Be the first point of contact for leads generated from new and established accounts and relationships
- Accurately upload information into Sales Hub/CRM (critical)
- Ensure proper hand off to assigned Project Specialist for all leads
- Present Product Knowledge to Customers
- Create presentations for the purpose of disseminating product knowledge
- Schedule and present presentations to customers within 7 days of initial contact
- Educate customers on proposed system features and benefits
- Answer client questions about scope of work, products, and availability and production schedules.
- Follow up with customers regularly regarding surfacing (porcelain) needs, production timelines, or other items as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. Regular training provided.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and vendors.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to climb ladders and work at height
- Ability to lift 25lbs+ regularly

Working conditions

Indoor/Outdoor working conditions. Will also work from both a desk and mobile work environment.

Physical requirements

This job is physically demanding. Sales Specialists are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, work outside frequently and do repetitive tasks with few breaks.
