**BCBA (MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALTY FLEX)**

**Mobile Position in Central MA**

The Edinburg Center is looking for a BCBA for our Mental Health Specialty Flex Team - this is not your ordinary BCBA role

Fulltime Salaried $ 75,608.00

**Who You Are**:
**What You Will Do**:

- BCBAs on the Specialty Flex team use the principles of ABA with youth who experience mental health challenges other than ASD to support them and their families.
- BCBAs provide parent coaching, development of a FBA and BSP, they may participate in family therapy to observe patterns of behavior and family dynamics or to offer a different perspective, and they collaborate with a variety of collaterals.
- You will have weekly individual supervision with a BCBA and weekly group supervision with a social worker to better understand the complexities of the mental health challenges the youth struggle with and will also take part in a daily team consult.
- A BCBA on Specialty Flex needs to think outside the box and be flexible while following principles of ABA as well as having strong boundaries.
- A Specialty flex BCBA must understand that mental health and behavior are intertwined and must be comfortable with independent work and teamwork as they will join a multidisciplinary team of master's level mental health clinicians, bachelors level clinicians, an occupational therapist, a young adult peer mentor, and a family partner.
- There is **no** minimum productivity requirement.
