**How You’ll Contribute**
- Perform comprehensive assessments, donor history intake, patient vitals, data collection and interpretation of relevant medical records.
- Communicate patient results to physician and relevant team members.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Maintains inventory of patient care and specimen collection supplies.
- Registers donors, ensuring proper identification and accurate labeling of specimen containers.
- Provides administrative assistance by handling phone calls, scheduling potential donor appointments, organizing files, and inputting data into company databases.
- Document all assessments and patient responses meticulously.
- Monitor blood draw and specimen testing and schedules, ensuring timely collection and submission. Prepares blood/urine specimens for shipment to reference laboratories and updates communicable disease logs accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with FDA tissue regulations for all donors through a solid understanding of the regulations.
- Follows up on outstanding or overdue lab results and addresses any testing or sample errors.
- Coordinate chart reviews to ensure completion and signing of all consent forms and documents.
- Participates in weekday and weekend rotations as required.
- Demonstrate organizational skills to facilitate efficient patient care.
- Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment.
- Reports any errors, accidents, or incidents to the Laboratory Supervisor or Manager promptly.
- Full time during typical business hours with possible rotation with other staff during extended hours or Saturdays.
- Additional duties and projects as necessary.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Medical assistant certificate required.
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Phlebotomy certificate or demonstrable proficiency
- Two to three years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Communication skills for interactions with clients and ability to comprehend instructions and compose routine reports and correspondence.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Exercise high levels of independent judgment and accuracy.
- Communicate positively and professionally with staff members and patients.
- Function independently while seeking assistance from physician and team members as needed.
- Demonstrate teamwork and willingness to perform assigned or delegated duties, as well as duties of other employees as required.
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations for all patient and clinic information.
- Successfully operate in a team environment, displaying courtesy, compassion, and respect for internal and external customers.
