We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Assistant to join our team at the University Foot & Ankle Institute. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our podiatrists in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide top-notch patient care, including phlebotomy, injections, and other back office responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including exam rooms and medical instruments
- Develop strong relationships with patients and staff, demonstrating empathy and a positive attitude
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and data entry
- Stay up-to-date with EMR systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- 2-5 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably in a podiatry office
- X-ray license or limited x-ray for podiatry preferred
- Spanish speaking a plus
- BLS Certification and/or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Competitive hourly rate of $24.00
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits
