The assembly technician, reporting to the production manager, will be responsible for the assembling of components for processing.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Two years production experience
- High School Diploma
- **Microscope experience - Required**:

- US person
- As the nature of the work task and/or procedures change, training will be as needed
- Self-motivated, driven for excellence, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, coupled with creativity to resolve problems.
- Strong, clean, and effective written and verbal communications.
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications
- Exceptional interpersonal skills

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble parts per work instructions and process procedures
- Carry out daily and weekly tasks
- Help to troubleshoot and source experts when needed
- Must maintain high level of on-time delivery and first-time quality
- Maintain safe and clean working area
- Participate in required company training

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
Work is normally performed on site at STC's office in Santa Ana, CA. Office work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Proper safety equipment is provided by STC when/where necessary.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Office work involves standing and walking for brief periods, but most work is from a seated position, often at a microscope. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials & computer screen. Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, travel and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
