Electrical Assembly Technician

Belcan is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in building high-quality Power Distribution Units (PDUs) to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate cranes to move materials and perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Utilize various fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product, adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution Units, ensuring accurate and reliable connections.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to company, environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Contribute to process and safety improvement ideas, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Maintain machines and tools, and perform housekeeping duties as necessary, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
  • Residency within a 50-mile radius of the work location (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates exempt).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in production, packaging, or construction.
  • Previous experience with standard operating procedures.
  • Previous experience with product electrical assembly, maintenance, and/or repair.
  • Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.
