Accounts Payable Specialist

**Location and Hours**: Torrance full-time (must be in person)

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing invoices for payment (both hard copy and EDI).
- Verifying invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving AP billing discrepancies.
- Reviewing and reconciling AP accounts.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Assisting with month-end close procedures.
- Generating reports and executing check runs.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Prior supply chain/logistics accounting experience is a plus
- Prior experience with MAS/SAGE Accounting ERP is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree preferred or working towards degree
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, proficient in xlookup, vlookup, and pivot tables
- 3+ years of accounts payable, finance, and/or operations experience is a plus (internship experience qualifies)

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
