The Early Learning Site Director implements and manages all direct service programs and related support services/activities at assigned agency facility.

**Reporting Relationships**

The Early Learning Site Director operates under the direct supervision of the Director of Flagship Programs and under the general supervision of the Chief Programs and Impact Officer. The Site Director supervises, directs, and evaluates the Program Advisors, and other key professional staff, consistent with the scope and complexity of site/operations.

**Major Responsibilities and Key Tasks**
- Ensures the implementation of all program activities for the assigned facility. These activities include daily, developmentally appropriate curriculum components; field trips; special events; enriched programs; and other activities.
- Responsible for oversight of supervision for all site teaching and program support staff.
- Ensures a healthy, safe, and friendly environment for children, youth, and parents in accordance with all licensing requirements and consistent with agency philosophy and policies. This includes but is not limited to statute/policy regarding appropriate staff/child ratios; presence of the required qualified site management staff; correct and complete records of all children, youth, and staff; equipment, supplies, and physical facility indoors and outdoors; and other areas consistent with statute and regulation.
- Manages and administers all program-specific funding contracts, or assigned portions thereof. Ensures agency compliance with all contractual and audit requirements for all site program components. These duties include: initiating and maintaining full enrollment; client eligibility determination and follow up; special case service eligibility; accurate and consistent record keeping; fee assessment and collection; statistical reports, monthly vouchers and all auxiliary records as stipulated by agency policy, statute, contract and/or audit requirements.
- Responsible for annual eligibility audit preparations, monitoring visits and statistical compilations as required by funding sources.
- Works in partnership with parents to facilitate positive relationship between home and Center. Conducts regular parent meetings; issues monthly written communication with parents regarding curriculum plans and news, program policies and other items of interest. Plans field trips and other activities in response to family needs.
- Conducts weekly program staff meetings; major seasonal/event planning; review of daily classroom activity plans and issues with weekly written follow up. Consolidates all program components into consistent site activity plan.
- Maintains appropriate professional affiliations and represents the agency/program to the larger community. Conducts frequent tours and program presentations for potential funders.
- Manages the physical plant and supervises its upkeep; oversees food service and catering and ensures site compliance with licensing, sanitation, and Board of Health requirements.
- Participates as a member of the management team, including work on budget preparation, monitoring, program planning, staff and general operational concerns.
- Assumes a leadership/liaison role with Board committees and special projects as assigned.
- Generate monthly reports which include enrollment, service delivery statistics, and a program narrative for submission to Director of Flagship Programs
- Performs other duties as assigned.
