We are committed to delivering homes of superior craftsmanship and value to our customers. As part of our dedication to excellence, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Service Technician to join our team. Your main responsibility will involve supporting the Construction and Customer Service departments throughout the home construction process, including addressing any warranty-related repairs for our clients. This position requires manual labor duties and must be filled by an individual capable of performing those functions without the need for constant supervision.

**Job Summary**:
As a Quality Control Service/maintenance specialist for new home construction, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of our newly constructed homes. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying deficiencies, and working with various teams to ensure that all aspects of our homes meet or exceed established quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Inspection and Testing**:Conduct comprehensive inspections of new homes at various stages of construction to identify quality issues, code compliance, and workmanship standards.

2. **Deficiency Reporting**:Document and report any identified defects or issues to the relevant construction teams and subcontractors for prompt resolution. Assist Construction Supervisor in maintaining the construction schedule by reporting any noted delays or problems.

3. **Quality Assurance**:Collaborate with construction managers to establish quality assurance procedures and ensure adherence to industry best practices.

4. **Coordinate**: Coordinate the installation of appliances, cabinets, counters, plumbing fixtures, screens and the like in a manner that assures that finishes are protected.

5. **Warranty Services**: Conduct 30-day and End-Of Year Repairs.

6. **Final Walkthroughs**:Perform thorough final walkthroughs to ensure that all outstanding issues have been resolved and that the home is ready for homeowner occupancy.

7. **Customer Satisfaction**:Address homeowner concerns, provide information, and ensure that any requested warranty work is completed to the homeowner's satisfaction.

8. **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of inspections, deficiencies, and resolutions, and produce regular reports on quality control findings.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
