Preschool Floater/cleaning Staff

Job Overview:
This is a part time position. Regular hours will be from approximately 1:00 or 3:00 to 5:30 but person should be flexible and available to cover morning shifts as well. EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN IS REQUIRED.

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary duties include cleaning all throughout the day and assisting lead teachers
- Float between classrooms where needed
- Help prepare meals for children
- Assist the lead teachers
- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism - Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
- Help supervise students during various activities and transitions

**Experience**:

- Working with children of all ages is a must.
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting, preferably in early childhood education or special education would be helpful
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

Must be able to bend, jump, lift at least 40lbs and stand for long periods of time ALL WHILE NOT PLAYING ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE.

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
