- Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California for a minimum of 2 years required.

**Clinical/Patient Care Responsibilities**:

- Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.
- Manage, coordinate, and participate in the development and implementation of behavioral health program and services for teens, working closely with the Director, Behavioral Health.
- Develop goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and priorities that follow best practices for adolescents.
- Act as liaison with LA County Mental Health, Department of Public Health, and LAUSD.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with behavioral health community-based providers.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor the program budget to ensure the accomplishment of program and service objectives within budget restrictions.
- Select, supervise, train, and evaluate clinical, professional, and volunteer staff

**Management/Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Provide general oversight and supervision for all mental health service delivery within the teen program.
- Collaborate closely with appropriate PPLA Staff to problem solve and find solutions for the benefit of patients and staff, as well as teen callers.
- Collaborate with Director of Behavioral Health and Patient Services Leadership in regard to the Wellbeing Centers Initiative.
- Participate in the development, revision, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral health practice standards, guidelines, and policies and procedures based on current literature, research, and practice in regard to serving teens.
- Collaborate with the Call Center Manager to support training and coaching of Teen Call Line Specialists.
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring processes of new LMFTs/LCSWs.
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff regarding behavioral health protocols and patient management for teens.
- Ensure clinical compliance with PPLA protocols consistent with PPFA, federal, and state standards and laws.
- Support Director, Behavioral Health with updates to the PPLA’s Medical Standards and Guidelines and ensures successful implementation into clinical practice.
- Work closely with the Chief Education and Programs Officer, Senior Directors of Clinical Services and Health Center Operations, and Director of Behavioral Health in program development and evaluation processes.
- Foster team development between licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Attend clinic staff, clinic management, and general staff meetings and in-services as applicable.
- Participate in Task Forces or committees as needed and/or as requested.
- Complete performance management plans and appropriate disciplining action as it pertains to the LMFT/LCSWs or ASW behavioral and clinical performance in regard to the Teen Call Line.
- Enforce strong internal and external customer service standards of all program staff.
- Adhere to Agency’s policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Manage direct report(s) to include but not limited to overseeing successful completion of tasks / duties, review of timesheets in a timely manner, setting productivity goals & quality of work output expectations by exercising effective judgment and addressing and/or elevating grievances (staff concerns), as appropriate. Adhere to PPLA’s policies and procedures for interviewing / selecting new hires, promotions, transfers, performance management and separations.
