Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sterilization Technician to join our dental team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our dental instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to proper sterilization procedures will contribute to the overall success of our dental practice.
**Responsibilities**:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following established protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available
- Assist dental professionals during procedures by providing them with sterilized instruments and equipment
- Maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and place orders as needed
- Monitor and record sterilization equipment maintenance and performance
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Assist with other duties as assigned
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is a plus
- Experience in dental assisting is an advantage
**Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols for instrument sterilization
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory and track equipment maintenance
- Proficient in using sterilization equipment and tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Good communication skills to collaborate with the dental team
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
