Scripps is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support our Cardiology inpatient department at Scripps Mercy San Diego, ranked #1 in San Diego by US News and World Report.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide clinician expertise while rounding with Cardiac procedural patients, ranging from approximately 10-15 patients per day.
- Having previous experience with the following structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Watchmans and MitraClip is also preferred.

Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Minimum one year experience within a Cath Lab or Cardiology environment.
Current California RN License.
- Nurse Practitioner credential required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- ACLS (AHA)
- Maintains medical staff credentialing as an allied health professional.
Preferred Certification/Education/Skills:
- NP in area of Cardiology is preferred.
- Ability to speak Spanish is recommended.
- 2 years’ experience in the APN role
- TNCC and/or ATCN and CNS
- 3-5 years’ experience in specialty area
Position Pay Range: $65.97-$98.96/hour
