Position Summary

The Project Coordinator II provides administrative management support to the Principal Investigator for their research project and will oversee the day-to-day activities in large complex multi-site projects involving data collection and analysis.

**Responsibilities**:
The Project Coordinator II will coordinate the collection and analysis of research data; coordinate study personnel; facilitate across-the-board flow of information; and analyze and prepare data and write reports and manuscripts. The coordinator will also develop and monitor project budgets.

Responsibilities include:

- Recruiting, training, and supervising activities of the study personnel (including determining and maintaining appropriate staffing skill profiles and levels).
- Designing and implementing study protocols and sampling tools.
- Supervising, coordinating, and monitoring clinical and research data collection and organization of community outreach activities to increase awareness of and interest in genetic research among underserved populations.
- Coordination of integration of data and results from multiple sources and projects.
- Analyzing and preparing data and creating analytic reports.
- Assisting in the drafting of manuscripts and papers.
- Coordinating, monitoring, and managing overall project budgets and handling of IRB protocols for the projects.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience.

Other Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and analytical capability.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of complex data collection and analysis techniques.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Prior clinical research experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
