**Responsibilities**:
**This DePaul teaching assignment requires one evening a week on site at the College of Lake County (CLC) campus in Grayslake, Illinois and the potential for fully online teaching.**

**This position begins with the course scheduled to start the first week of January 2024.**

SCPS serves both adult and traditional age students, underserved populations, and provides flexible learning formats and scheduling to meet student needs. The school focuses on lifelong learning skills, including writing, critical thinking, research and career development throughout its a multi-disciplinary curriculum. SCPS courses are facilitated online, on campus, evenings and weekends, and through a variety of hybrid combinations including both synchronous and asynchronous variations.

**Required Qualifications**:
A master's degree, Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field and relevant experience is required.

Experience teaching at the college level is desirable, but not required.

**Special Instructions to Applicants**:
Part-time teaching opportunities are available including online, hybrid, and on-campus throughout the academic year. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs, demonstrated successful teaching experience, and appropriate, verified qualifications will be contacted for an interview. Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and the school will work with selected individuals to determine a quarterly schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however, the school does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations. Online courses are taught using the Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system.
