The **Assembly Tester Team Leader **position reports to the Production Manager. The Assembly Tester Team Leader will focus on increasing assembly testing performance, accuracy, and process improvement. They will mainly handle setting testing standards and requirements to meet quality requirements including customer specifications. They will be responsible for meeting optimal training standards, team accountability, and management of testing equipment. They require high attention to detail, process knowledge, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

**Job Duties**:

- Set-up and management of testing process, procedures, instructions, forms, and equipment.
- Lead the assembly testing team and ensure all standards are met with an established accountability rhythm.
- Handle and optimize all training for the team including training documents.
- Ensure a safe, organized, and clean environment in the testing area.
- Quick and efficient troubleshooting and detection of defects with final product. - Handle escalation and effective communication with the production manager.
- Cooperate effectively with the production planning team on production planning and resources.
- Cooperate effectively on escalated issues and handling customer feedback with the tech support team.
- Cooperate effectively with the quality department on quality-related issues.
- Follow-up on all open actions related to testing.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.

**Qualifications**:
2-3 years of testing related experience.

Associate Degree preferred

Experience with measuring instruments (ex. Multimeter, micrometer, calipers, hipot, pressure gauges, etc.)

Electrical experience, certification preferred.

Water pressure experience, certification preferred.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience with the creation of procedures and work instructions.

Proficiency in ERP systems or similar software.

Experience in a (small) manufacturing environment preferred; assembly of multi-component equipment.
