We are looking for a part-time on-staff videographer for independent musician Jimmy Chen for social media content. This is a long term project that can last more than 6 months. You will meet with Jimmy once every 2 weeks in various locations in NYC. Each shift is 10 hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize and execute creative ideas for engaging videos tailored for social media.
- Capture captivating moments during live performances, ensuring a seamless blend of artistic expression and musical energy.
- Commit to a continuous collaboration, with an expected workload of 10 hours per week, primarily from Friday to Sunday.
- Willingness to travel to NYC for specific projects.
- Manage and organize video files, assets, and project timelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videos and photos
- Provide Cameras and filming equipments

Qualifications:

- Experience in Photography and video editing is a plus (Optional)
- Strong understanding of video production principles, including composition, lighting, sound design, and color grading
- Familiarity with videography techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey creative ideas and feedback
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other professional video editing software a plus
- Knowledge of motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
