- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in and around the pool area
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Monitor swimmers and provide assistance or intervention when necessary
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or maintenance issues
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including regular cleaning and sanitization
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as checking chemical levels and adjusting as needed

**Skills**:

- Current CPR, lifeguard, and first aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
- Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with all guests
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of pool cleaning and maintenance procedures is a plus
