**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES**
2-year Associate Degree in Information Technology or a related field, and/or 1-3 years of help desk/desktop support experience
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Strong customer service, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with helpdesk software and remote-control tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft OS, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Basic understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as basic IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client configuration.
- Ability to move computer, network, and A/V equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure, and Windows Server is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-oriented and patient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Prior experience in a technology support help desk environment.
- Ability to adapt to varying/changing work hours as necessitated by support needs.
- Basic project management skill set desired.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English desired but not required.
- Will require sitting in an indoor office environment with the need to visually read various written materials. The job may also require standing, bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and other physical activities
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as PC, printer, telephone, calculator, copier, and fax machines.
- Travel may be required to meetings/support calls in other office buildings/sites, including local and domestic.
- Weekend and after-hours support availability required.
