Educate, comply and enforce company policies and procedures. Make managerial decisions affecting the positive outcome of the company’s operations and take appropriate disciplinary action when required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Resolve issues/inquiries from field personnel regarding work assignments, vehicles, equipment, etc.
- Respond on an ambulance as part of the EMS system to meet compliance standards and provide quality care.
- Develop coordinated teamwork between field crews as part of an integrated operation - clinical performance plan.
- Investigate and resolve incoming customer service inquiries from internal and external customers pertaining to field employee performance and patient care.
- Partner with the Scheduling Team and assist with scheduling functions as needed to include normal business hours and after hours.
- Maintain knowledge of all company policies and regulations ensuring consistency in interpretation of such when dealing with employees and the general public.
- Maintain an “open door” policy to field employees and encourage crewmembers to discuss any issues, and make suggestions for improvement.
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding functions and support new employee orientations.
- Coordinate with the Field Training Officers and Clinical Team to identify clinical opportunities for improvement, and provide follow-up as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between field personnel, Regional Director and Executive Leadership.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, resolving daily issues that may arise. Support and encourage field personnel, ensuring the standards of Ambulance are carried out in the field.
- Oversee investigations and employee performance issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone’s responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.
- Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results. Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, promotion, etc. Responsible for compliance with and enforcement of company/department policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**CAAS accreditation signifies that Premier Ambulance has met the “gold standard” determined by the ambulance industry to be essential in a modern emergency medical services provider. These standards often exceed those established by state of local regulation. Less than two percent (2%) of the ambulance providers in America have achieved this level of accreditation.**

HP1
- Minimum 3-5 years on-ambulance experience
- 2+ years of Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated skills and experience in training, evaluating, instructing, and coaching
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication
- The ability to thrive in fast paced work environment both independently and as a team
- Enjoy working with people on a daily basis, including colleagues new to the industry

**Education/Licensing/Certification**:

- Current CA State and SD County EMT Certifications & additional certifications required for the position of EMT
- High School Diploma or (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- ICS-100 & 200 required. ICS 300 & 400 preferred

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of scheduling and CAD software
- Demonstrated skills in professional writing, simple math skills, judgment, decision-making, reading and clerical.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Occasionally: Kneeling, stooping, bending, walking, carrying, lifting
- Constantly: Sitting, seeing, hearing/listening, clear speech, typing and learning
