**Summary of essential job functions**:

- Primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
- Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs.
- Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
- Befriend residents to encourage resident self-esteem.
- Promote an environment of safety.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Be patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm and ability to incorporate these into life enrichment services.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Activity Aide or Life Enrichment Assistant.
- Previous experience in senior living care is a plus.
- Comfortable utilizing Social Media.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
