**Job Summary**

FSI is looking to hire a HR/Accounting Clerk to join our team. The HR/Accounting Clerk performs a combination of clerical tasks to support office, business and administrative operations. Will be responsible for learning all HR clerical functions while helping out and assisting with accounting functions. Gather, complies, and verifies information and performs data entry.

**Responsibilities** **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide day to day general Human Resource support to employees and management staff, elevating questions and issues.
- Responsible for Payroll Processing.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and clearance to ensure all necessary requirements are completed timely.
- Ensure that procedures are followed, and proper HR and payroll documentation is completed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government rules and regulations relating to employment practices. Include but not limited to HIPPA, FMLA and workers compensation.
- Process all paperwork on a timely basis related to human resources and accounting.
- Monitor and review compliance training for new hires and annual requirements.
- Maintains financial record and runs reports for management.
- Assist with annual and quarterly forms and document submittal to government agencies.
- Resolve issues or problems as soon as they are identified.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and two years HR/Accounting related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have proven experience in supply chain operations.
- Must be proficient and knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and other management software including the DMLSS system.
- Demonstrated skills in objective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have a high level of attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record.
- Be a self-starter and have proficient typing skills.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Must have a familiarity with office unit procedures.
