Part-time Temporary Program Special Support

**Employment Status**: Part -Time temporary for approximately 200 hours beginning approximately June 17th, 2024, and ending on before August 2nd, 2024.
**FLSA Status**: Non-exempt
**Benefits**:Not benefit eligible
**Starting Salary**: $18/hr

**Position Competencies and Responsibilities**

- Provides program event support: communications, refreshments, rentals, and set-up and break-down.
- Communicates with volunteers, partner agencies, facilities, mentors, and artists.
- Supports program department goals related to the assembly and delivery coordination of Bravery Bags
- As assigned, supports program coordinators, professional artists, and mentors during camp and other program delivery opportunities including survey administration.
- Assists programs, as assigned, by aiding children and teens during program events.
- Back-up support for the Program Coordinator and Program Manager

- Art Room: Intakes, values, processes in-kind donations; tracks, orders, and maintains Art Room supplies; assigns tasks to Art Room volunteers; provides supplies for mentors/artists and programs.
- Supports exhibit needs such as storage, organizing and hanging.
- Enters/maintains data, generates reports/dashboards, and proofreads.
- Facilitates thank you cards, update internal documents, and internal calendar.

**Requirements**:
- Ability to read and write in Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience using Windows and Microsoft Applications,
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Fingerprint Clearance Card to be present around the children we serve.
- Must be able to have access to and provide reliable transportation for self. An AZ driver’s license and proof of insurance are required for qualifying mileage reimbursements.
- This person frequently interacts with volunteers and constituents about the mission and vision of Free Arts. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 40% of the time using a computer.
- Must be able to identify and assess written materials including fine print.
- Must be able to position self to maintain files, supplies, document boxes, and other materials up to 50 pounds as needed.
Environmental Requirements:
- Availability during camp hours from 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday through Friday is required.
- Availability afternoons and early evenings to support programs as needed is preferred.
- Must be able to regularly work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled work area.
- Must be able to work in an open area with other employees, program participants, and volunteers 80% of the time.
