Position Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a School-Based Occupational Therapist. This is a contract position with a local school district in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Valid Occupational Therapist credential/license in the state of practice
  • At least 1 year of experience as a School-Based Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
