Position Description:
As a Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

- Obtain an understanding of Applied Medical business processes and processes associated with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Review internal policies and procedures and existing laws, rules, and regulations, including ESRS and CSRD to determine applicable compliance.
- Evaluate and develop value-added recommendations.
- Develop effective reports and presentations.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships throughout the organization to complete impact and financial materiality assessments.
- Prepare or review various reports and company assessments for internal and external purposes.
- Collect, compile, summarize and record data to meet reporting requirements.
- Present reports to department managers and senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and requirements.
- Monitor the progress of tasks and activities, and keep managers informed of progress.
- Completion of milestones based on established deadlines to achieve project goals.

Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:

- ONSITE - Headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field, such as Sustainability Management, Accounting, Finance or Data Analytics.
- At least five years of relevant experience, with at least three years in a lead role
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and to all levels of management and staff.
- Detailed knowledge of professional standards and regulations, such as CSRD, ESRS, or US GAAP.
- Exposure to management information systems terminology, concepts, controls and practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data analytics and reporting.
- Must be professional, resourceful, flexible, action oriented, organized, excellent in multitasking, team player and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:
The following skills and attributes are preferred:

- Experience in the medical device industry conducting sustainability and internal audit projects.
- Knowledge of SAP.
