This position may allow hybrid work for a portion of the work schedule up to 90% depending on the employee’s preference and needs of the work unit. Any hybrid work flexibility that may be available will be discussed in more detail in the interview process.

This position will be headquartered at the 610 Gibson St., Eau Claire, WI office and will require travel within the region as identified. There is no mileage reimbursement when traveling from an employee’s residence to the headquarter location. **Employees need to report to the 201 W. Washington Ave. Madison, WI office or the 635 N 26 St. Milwaukee, WI office on their first day for onboarding and orientation.**

**Position Summary**:
This position provides quality assurance, program monitoring, technical assistance and ongoing program support for the Wisconsin Shares childcare subsidy program and childcare provider certification programs operated by county and tribal departments of human or social services, and other subrecipient contracted providers in the specified geographic area.

**Salary Information**:
The classification title for this position is Human Services Area Coordinator. The starting salary is between $26.34 and $40.00 per hour ($54,787 and $83,200 annually), depending on qualifications. Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of the appointment.** Pay for current state employees who are transferring will be determined based upon the pay on transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment.**

The pay schedule/range is 07-03. A one-year probationary period may be required.

**Job Details**:
**Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DCF sponsorship.) The Department of Children and Families does not sponsor visas, either at time of hire or at any later time.**

**Qualifications**:
**Minimally qualified applicants will have**:

- Experience working with Human Services programs and/or related services (Child Welfare program, W-2 Program, educational programs etc.)
- Experience working with program management and/or monitoring (verifying compliance with program requirements, reviewing outcomes, etc.)
- Experience providing technical assistance and/or training to staff.

**Well-qualified applicants will have**:

- Experience working with the Wisconsin Child Care Subsidy and Certification programs (Program requirements, program eligibility, and local service delivery system, etc.)
- Experience interpreting program and/or policy requirements (statutes, regulations, and/or policy manuals)
- Experience using data systems that support the Child Care Certification and Subsidy Program.
- Experience using data reports to analyze program performance and/or local agency performance (corrective action plan, quality assurance monitoring, etc.)
