**Position Summary**:
As the Material Manager, you will be responsible for inventory and replenishing supply levels for all perioperative clinical areas within the facility.

**Job Duties & Essential Functions**:

- Capacity for making quick, intelligent decisions, and initiating appropriate actions.
- Protects patients from environmental hazards.
- Establishes inventories and maintains adequate par levels of materials for perioperative services.
- Reviews and processes all purchase orders, packing slips and invoices for payments.
- Scans to billing department.
- Monitors telephone and fax requests to verify accurate ordering and patient charging.
- Monitors restocking of all materials used for patient care in the perioperative environment.
- Monitors oxygen, compressed air and nitrogen tank levels daily and orders replacement tanks as needed.
- Reviews the surgical schedule in advance to verify that proper supplies and equipment are available when needed.
- Assists with contract compliance and negotiating pricing for perioperative services materials and equipment.
- Maintains records of purchase orders, requisitions, and product literature.
- Complies reports for data analysis and quality improvement projects relative to perioperative materials management.
- Serves as a resource for perioperative personnel in matters such as purchasing procedures, product information, and contract compliance.
- Notifies clinical manager of product recalls
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and good working relationship with co-workers
- Utilizes initiative; strives to maintain steady level of productivity; self-motivated.
- Organization and management of activities reflect due consideration for the needs of the facility and staff.
- Always maintains patient confidentiality
- Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience within an ASC/Hospital setting
- Minimum of 2 years management/supervisory experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in an ambulatory setting
- Current BLS certification

**Work Schedule**:

- Rotating Schedule

**Salary Range**:

- **$60,000.00 - $65,000.00**
