**Lead Retail Associate, Starbucks (Part Time)**

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of _Lead Retail Associate_ at Starbucks within the Huddle Food Court. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.

**Why this position?**
The _Lead Retail Associate _provides the Notre Dame community and guests with the very best in foods and services. This person will make all guests feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of our customers. Retail Associates at the Huddle Food Court prepare a variety of food and beverage items in a multi-unit food and beverage operation.

Essential duties include:

- Produce food and beverage items
- Responsible for proper use of equipment
- Conform with HAACP regulations on a daily basis
- Assign tasks to retail associates and cooks
- Check performance ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service
- Ensure sanitation and safety requirements are met
- Train retail associates on tasks necessary for the position
- Recommend service enhancements and ensuring all brand standards are met
- Set up and clean up of small operations
- Responsible for ordering and inventory control
- Work directly with the management team to insure COGS are at or below set targets
- Certified or actively pursuing brand certification in all units
- Must pass Serv-safe and AllerTrain examinations and have the ability to run a shift without a manager present

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience
