**Job Summary**
- Under the Noncredit Workforce Training Initiative grant, the College is currently seeking individuals to join our training team to develop and deliver training on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) to area employers.
- Workforce Development Trainers operate as needed under the Workforce Development umbrella and provide a variety of training opportunities to area employers. Trainers assist in the development of training program. Position is part-time and contracted on a course-by-course basis as needed.

**Supervisorial Responsibilities**:None**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the comprehensive community college mission.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with end-users.
- Flexibility for training offered day, evening, and online.
- Expertise to deliver training for a diverse audience.

**Required Qualifications**
- Certificate or endorsement in diversity, equity and inclusion (training available).
- Certificate or endorsement in conducting crucial conversations (training available).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver training to diverse groups of various sizes.
- Three to five years’ experience in developing and customizing training materials.

**Physical Demands**
- Work is normally performed in a general office environment.
- Work performed requires sensitivity and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities and needs.
- This position requires light physical activity and movement; employee must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone or during virtual meetings.
- Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds with the use of proper equipment. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals on a case-by-case basis.
