Our Washdown team helps the park shine from behind the scenes You might not be seen by the guests, but you definitely affect their day be ensuring our midways and patios are spotless at the start of their day. Your attention to detail ensures our park is clean no matter the crowd size

As a Park Washdown Team Member at the Thrill Capital of New England

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in Guests’ view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Searching for trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti to be removed
- Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and collect rubbish with a dustpan
- Utilizing a leaf blower to clear the midways of debris
- Driving a sprayer truck to wash all park surfaces
- Scrubbing problem areas in the midway
- Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary
- Wiping down all trash receptacles, table tops and counters
- Assisting in other areas of the Park Services Department
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- At least 18 years of age
- Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time with efficient use of time

Direct and continuous interaction with Guests, Team Members, Leads, and Supervisors throughout the entire park

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Requires normal visual and mental demand.

PHYSICAL DEMAND
- Requires some lifting, standing, walking, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
- Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition
- Requires using telephone, radios, and computer equipment Strong physical mobility
the ability to move easily in different work stations, hand and arm movement and utilizes safe lifting and carrying techniques
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a times and as many as 14 hours a day
- Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per day over various surfaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently with a maximum of 80 lbs
- Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to lift and lower up to 40 lbs above shoulder level
- Must be able to lift and carry up to an 80 lb load over 25 feet
- Must be able to push/pull 150 lbs over 50 feet over various surfaces
- Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 6 ft. in height
- Must be able to climb over a counter up to 30 inches in height and 30 inches wide

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Continuously works outside and closely with others
- Primarily works alone, is exposed to dust/dirt, water, chemicals, sewage, and bodily fluids that may or may not contain a blood borne pathogen
- Proper PPE is required while cleaning at all times
- Must be able to function in all weather conditions for long periods of time
