Property Accountant will be responsible for full cycle accounting role for a portfolio of properties within the organization and will serve as the financial expert for all required analysis and reporting on the portfolio both internally and to the clients of the organization

**Property Accountant Job Duties**:

- Review and approve accounts payable and mortgage statements.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Prepare monthly
- quarterly closing.
- Prepare and execute monthly distribution.
- Prepare and execute management fees.
- Process bank account reconciliation
- Prepare monthly variance analysis report.
- Record cash transactions.
- Prepare and tie cash reports for the bank reconciliation process.
- Calculate and record appropriate depreciation and amortization of fixed assets, tenant improvements, and leasing commissions.
- Assist property managers with all revenue questions and issues that may arise.
- Review 1099s

**Qualifications**:
BA/BS degree in Accounting required
3 years of property accounting experience within Commercial Real Estate
Proficiency with Excel and hands on experience with MRI

**STATUS**:
Full Time

**LOCATION**:
Tustin, CA

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
