UPLIFT TAY: Unleashing Potential, Learning, Inspiring Futures, Fostering Transformation for Emerging Adults couples case management with peer support and navigation of community resources to assist transitional age youth exit system involvement into sustainable independent living in the community. Transitional age youth work with peer support specialists, case manager, and support team to set goals for greater independence and economic self-sufficiency.

**_This is a two (2) year grant-supported program._**

**SUMMARY**:
Under the direction of the Director of TYS, the UPLIFT TAY Program Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the staff, supporting the day-to-day operations, tracking performance, and supporting continuous improvement related to service delivery. The UPLIFT TAY Program Supervisor works closely with community partners and internal departments to ensure participants have equitable and accessible support service options. This position must be filled by a dedicated individual who is social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, a team player, and committed to working alongside emerging adults as they transition out of system involvement. In addition, the position requires coordination with both Casa Pacifica program staff as well as with outside agencies. They carry out the mission of Casa Pacifica as it pertains to the activities of the Development office including but not limited to: administrative support, media involvement, conducting tours of the facility, and serving as a representative of Casa Pacifica at community events.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated by typical activities specified by role)**:
**UPLIFT TAY Program Supervisor Role**

**Leadership**
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to program staff in the program implementation and service delivery.
- Build trust among staff and stakeholders.
- Foster professional working relationships with colleagues, participants, the community, and funding agencies.
- Developing new and expanding existing collaborations and referral policies with other community organizations.
- Attending all required meetings and trainings.

**Supervisory**
- Managing program staff to ensure that all participant files meet specific program and agency documentation standards and requirements.
- Coordinating training for program staff on best case management practices, including trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
- Conducting annual reviews of program staff.
- Monitoring and approving time sheets and partner agency invoices prior to payment

**Program Oversight**
- Program design, implementation, oversight, and assessment consistent with program goals and requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, agency, and other funder regulations.
- Maintaining high HMIS data quality standards, managing data export and other required reporting elements.
- Completing all monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for timely submission as required.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of all program activities.
- Developing protocols to assist participants in accessing additional benefits from federal, state, and local resources.
- Planned and oversaw the Participant Advisory Council and Alumni group activities.
- Conduct regular case reviews with staff
- Providing regular progress reports on outcomes and activities.
- Develop and implement strategic program development plans and activities, ensuring continuous growth and sustainability of the program.
- May be on-call evenings and weekends as needed.
- Attends outside training events and conferences as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters within the organization with respect to personnel, operations, and clients.
- Provide Transportation using personal vehicle as needed.
- Assists other departments as needed, including assistance with projects, meetings, events, etc.
- Needs to be organized and function well in a busy environment.
- Must be able to think ahead and address issues before they arise - Preventative system of care.
- Perform other duties as required.

Position requires staff must be at least 21 years of age. Completed and cleared Livescan, criminal statement, health screening with TB test.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
**Must meet at least one of the following requirements prior to employment**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Public Administration or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and professional experience;
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required;
- Experience working with system-involved youth or similar social service experience is an advantage;
- Experience managing government grants strongly preferred;
- Knowledge of Casa Pacifica and Ventura County community partners and resources is an advantage;
- HMIS experience is an advantage;
- Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice system as a consumer, mentor
