Design Assistant

We are a fashion jewelry importer looking for an administrative/design assistant to join our design team and grow with our company We have been in the industry for 20+ years and are located in Hackensack, New Jersey.

We are a dog-friendly office, bring your dog to work

Responsibilities:

- Assist with spec sheets, sample measurements and factory liaison.
- Organize and keep track of samples that arrive for customers, our showroom, and extras.
- Create catalogs for new sample collections using our automated EDI system. (EDI training is provided)
- Assist with shipping new samples to photography + minor retouching using Adobe Photoshop whenever needed.
- Establish positive working relationships with our factories.
- Assist team in jewelry boarding and display organization.
- Organize samples and design records.
- Join with client sales meetings.
- Design new items & request to vendors

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to communicate in Korean and English.
- Ability to work both alone and in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Organized, detailed, positive and problem solving attitude.
- Must have basic Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop skills.

*We are seeking someone who will grow with the team. Compensation based on experience*

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
