**What we’re looking for**:

**What you’ll do**:
In this role you will research, build, plan, market and execute events. You are an event expert who understands and can execute on all operational components, whether events are virtual, hybrid, or in-person. You possess an operational mindset with an eye toward efficient, effective and flexible execution. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and can bring value to a small team.
- Oversee planning, production and executions of events that are virtual and/or in-person
- Manage event budgets, contracts and timelines
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders
- Think strategically, but stay on top of tactical details
- Oversee external vendors and venue relationships

**Key deliverables include**:

- Build and execute an annual event work plan, including budget allocation, timelines and vendor and venue partners to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Understand the strategic role of events as it relates to company goals and objectives and align conference activities to these goals.
- Manage the operational planning of conferences, events, and third-party partnerships opportunities, including communications and project management internally and also externally.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop on-site strategy and creative
- Lead the schedule and logistics on-site at events and conferences and handle issues that arise before or during the event activities.
- Ensure the team is on time and within budget for all event activities and manage metrics and benchmarks for event activities
- Own vendor relationships and deliverables for events and conference activities
- Ensure pre-show lead generation campaigns are fully integrated with the website, social media and all other channels to maximize results.
- Manage post event debriefs to ensure continuous improvement to and value from each event..
- Work with graphic designers and other members of the marketing team as needed on the creation of show materials, including content, banners, and promotional materials.
- Work with internal and external resources to develop collateral that is consistent with the brand and can be used for sales support and direct marketing initiatives.
- Create, analyze and distribute data metrics and outcomes related to event campaigns and business objectives.
- Provide additional support to the marketing team by way of other marketing initiatives and special projects, administrative support, and other duties as assigned.

**What we’d love to see**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or similar field

3-5 years of proven experience in B2B event marketing with a focus on trade shows

A strong background in and understand of managing and executing event logistics and planning

Comfort with data-first approach to marketing strategy and a willingness to own and iterate on the events and conferences playbook

Proven track record of success in meeting deadlines

Ability to build, work collaboratively and communicate with all stakeholders internally and externally

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Comfortable using collaboration tools (Slack and Asana), CRM tools (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (HubSpot)

Willingness to travel as required for trade shows and events

**Preferred Requirements**:
Ability to identify and seek needed information and strong research skills
