**Environmental Health Technician I**
**Experience**:Six months experience in an Environmental Health, building, planning or other permitting and regulatory setting, performing technical support or public contact duties.**Substitution**:12 semester units of college level courses in chemistry, biology, physics, toxicology, environmental science, or related field.**Environmental Health Technician II**
**Experience**:Two years of experience comparable to the Yolo County class of Environmental Health Technician I.
- **Substitution**:12 semester units of college level courses in chemistry, biology, physics, toxicology, environmental science or related field may substitute for one year of the required experience.
- ** License**:Incumbents in this class must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License, Class C or higher, to carry out job related duties.
