Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.

**This is a full time, benefited position working a varied shift. Shift times and days scheduled will vary based on department needs. Shifts may fall anywhere from 6:40am-8:30pm, weekend and holiday shifts are from 8am-5pm. Every other weekend (both Saturdays and Sundays) and holiday flexibility is required. There will also be an expectation for flexibility to float to neighboring Scripps HealthExpress locations as needed.**

**About HealthExpress/Same Day Clinic**:

- Team-oriented environment

- Patients ranging from pediatrics (ages 3+ months old) to adults

**What you'll do**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Perform patient care services that support the providers and clinic
- Front Office responsibilities such as registration, scheduling, patient check-ins, collecting co-pays and check-outs
- Clinical support by checking patient vitals, rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, point of care duties, immunizations, covid swabbing, and providing patient education
- Wide variety of acute care patients
- Patient volumes of 25 and up per day (sometimes as high as 50)

**Required Qualifications**:

- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1 year MA experience in an outpatient setting
- Pediatric experience

Position Pay Range: $22.29-$30.58/hour
