**Exciting Opportunity in Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration**

At Meel Pediatrics, we are committed to making behavioral health an integral part of our primary care services. Our primary care providers will work hand in hand with our integrated behavioral health clinician, to help the children and families we care for.
- Provide consultative support to primary care providers and clinical staff
- Complete real-time, initial consultations, and scheduled follow-up care as needed
- Deliver effective, evidence-based, interventions to help children and families achieve targeted behavioral goals
- Maintain up to date documentation in the practice’s electronic health record
- Actively participate in team meetings, and professional development that supports the practices’ integrated healthcare model
- Assist in identifying patients at risk of developing health problems, and provide preventive interventions to address the needs of these populations
- Assist the primary care team in developing care management processes, such as the use of guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education, to improve patient self-management
- Help evolve the practices integration efforts, by identifying problems and making recommendations for improvement

Required and Preferred Experience:

- A license for independent practice in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) is required.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is required
- Experience with behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief, solution-focused interventions is highly desirable
- Experience in pediatric primary care or other pediatric medical setting is preferred

This role provides significant opportunities to participate in high quality, CE-accredited, clinical education, through our partnership with Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Pediatric Physicians’ Organization at Children’s, at no cost.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
