Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary: FT, 40 hours, 8-4:30pm

Summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), under the direct supervision of the OTR/L, assists with the occupational therapy, evaluation, and treatment of patients in individual and group settings. The COTA will also assist with the daily therapeutic responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Program.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree from a ACOTE accredited program. Certification/Licensure: Current COTA/L License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.

Experience: Prior experience in Behavioral Health setting is preferred. Minimum of 1 year of related work in occupational therapy setting highly desired.

Salary Range: $21.19-$31.49
