**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Manage and guide the AP team, including training, and performance evaluations.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members.
- Promote a positive work environment and further teamwork.
- **Invoice Processing**:

- Review and approve invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure timely entry of invoices into the accounting system.
- Resolve discrepancies and exceptions promptly.
- **Payment Processing**:

- Coordinate payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) according to payment terms.
- Prioritize payments based on due dates.
- **Month-End Close**:

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile AP accounts and help to prepare accruals.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices and automation tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Resolve vendor disputes and maintain positive relationships.
- Monitor vendor master data accuracy.
- **Training and Development**:

- Provide ongoing training to team members on AP processes and software.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, with prior supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
