Wire Transfer Specialist

**Overview**

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

This Wire Transfer Specialist position provides client and internal department wire transfer transactions for the Bank. Utilizes automated wire transfer systems to ensure all wires are processed in an accurate, timely, and compliant fashion. Processes incoming wires, ACH transactions, performs daily reconciliations, answers inquiries, resolves wire-related issues, and performs other support duties.
- This is a hybrid position. Working 3 days a week in the office and 2 remote.

**Responsibilities**
- Processing - Processes incoming and outgoing wire transfer funds in a high volume, time-sensitive environment with emphasis on accuracy and production. Responsible for validating proper approval, callback when applicable and OFAC review on all outgoing wire transfers. Processes and routes incoming wires requiring repair, prepares daily reconciliations, runs and posts daily reports, processes ACH transactions and remote desktop deposits.
- Compliance - Ensures that all wire transfers are processed and transactions are in compliance with federal regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) law, and the US Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) laws. Follows the appropriate security procedures for proper holds, and other activities that involve some level of potential risk.
- Transfer Security - Monitors queues for unusual activity or keying errors. Informs management of any identified suspicious activity to ensure immediate action.

**Qualifications**

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in Customer Service or Wire Transfer Systems

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Proficiency in excel required with the ability to create spreadsheets from scratch with formulas
- Banking experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines
- Ability to work productively in a team setting and individually
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Ability to work extend hours when needed

If hired in California the base pay for this position is generally between $20.84 per hour and $31 per hour. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
