Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Customer Service Representative opportunity. This role reports into our TapeCase Division located in Elk Grove Village, IL.

The Customer Service Representative meets all customer requirements for a Business Unit with the goal of total customer satisfaction by entering and processing customer orders, communicating all customer requirements to appropriate departments, and ensuring that all orders are shipped as requested by the customer.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Processes customer order expedite and change requests by working with production and purchasing to determine availability of products.
- Performs reviews of the released orders to ensure order status is up to date in the system, works with various departments to determine the status of orders, and communicates to customers the status of their orders.
- Works with Quality to satisfy customer complaint issue; generate customer product return paperwork as needed.
- Releases customer purchase orders to production and verifies customer orders for assigned Business Unit(s) to ensure proper level of detail
- Verifies customer sample orders into the ERP
- Reviews customer support ticketing systems and responds to customer requests
- Acts as a backup for the Administrative Assistant position
- Retains customer purchase orders and communications electronically.
- Train new departmental personnel in coordination with department manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years in a Customer Service role
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree or manufacturing experience a plus)
- Very strong customer service skills
- Thorough and attentive to details
- Very good verbal and written communication skills
