**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a K-8 art curriculum that aligns with school standards and encourages creative expression.
- Teach a variety of art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and more.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of art and creativity.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and display student artwork throughout the school.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
- Maintain an organized and safe art classroom, including managing art supplies and equipment.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience teaching art to K-8 students.
- Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all skill levels.
- Creative, flexible, and passionate about art education.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
