**Human Resources Coordinator Job Description**

**Summary/Objective**

HR Coordinator job is to assist and support the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for supporting employees, managers, and the HR Department in facilitation and management of various employee related activities and projects. Key responsibilities include payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS administration, filing/records management, day-to-day completion of employee related activities and processes, and provides back-up support to other personnel in HR.

**Benefits function**
- Coordinates 401k enrollment, health, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicates with the company’s HR Manager on a regular basics.

**Human Resource function**
- Provides administrative support in the preparation of correspondence, reports, schedules, confidential materials, and various employee issues.
- Implements and maintains filing system, both paper and computer.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists internal guests with any questions.
- Assist with Phone Interviews
- Assists HR team with Orientation programs.
- Assists with Posting all necessary information in the bulletin boards and monthly newsletter.
- Assists with fingerprinting and badging of new hires and renewals of existing employees.
- Assists with changing employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion and conducting periodic file audits.
- Create employee file, and badge file.

**Office Administration**
- Assist with resetting paycom login credentials for team members when needed.

**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

**Physical Demands**

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.** **While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of company operations.

**Travel**
Outside of the normal routine visits to Unit locations inside the Airport(s), no travel is expected for this position.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Three years of experience in human resources, with some emphasis on employee selection, providing exposure to general personnel management issues and a basic understanding of laws impacting personnel management. Some experience providing familiarity with employee benefit programs or equivalent with some college or technical school course work and minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department; technical experience, including responsibility for maintaining computer systems; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

**Additional Eligibility Qualifications**
- Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office), computer hardware.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials; establishing priorities; and meeting deadlines.
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
