Marketing & Social Media Liaison

Assist the General Manager and Director of Sales to coordinate and execute the annual marketing plan and budget for social media. The focus will change seasonally and be driven around the various clientele constituencies of the resort. This position reports to the General Manager but will work closely with many members of the executive and senior leadership teams to execute marketing & communications initiatives. Role will also manage partnerships, content, reporting and collateral across all disciplines.

**Compensation**:
$22 per hour to start

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and run social campaigns from concept to execution, with post campaign performance analysis, ensuring that paid content is optimized for best performance
- Create and distribute compelling social content across the Eden Resort’s digital platforms, including new and emerging sites
- Look for internal stories to showcase within the organization and through online, social media, and other communication tools
- Work alongside Executive Team to generate concepts for special events and activities to create memorable experiences for guests
- Participate in weekly Marketing Meetings to facilitate hotel promotional opportunities
- Assist in development and execution of promotions and packages
- Work with the hotel’s marketing and communications team and the marketing agency to help deliver all direct mail, advertising, brochures, and collateral production
- Carry out general positive engagement with commenters on social channels
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Comfort and familiarity managing content and telling a cohesive brand story across the following but not limited to channels:

- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
- Passionate about digital content, the social space, and emerging trends
- Ability to create content that tells powerful stories
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and motivate team members
- Comfortable leading change initiatives
- Understanding of social media strategies, optimization and managing social media agencies
- Ability to manage complex content calendars across brand and portfolio of hotels and promote local events and offerings
- Basic understanding of design and copywriting fundamentals
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Hospitality and/or wellness industry experience a plus

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a marketing related field is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing related role, preferably for a hospitality brand
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in content writing and editing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and other relevant digital platforms preferred

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be comfortable walking and sitting for long periods of time
