We’re fully tech-enabled (everything from designing to buying and tracking your orders can be done through our web platform) and we manufacture everything in our Navy Yard, Brooklyn shop. We are a team of designers, upholsters and sewers and we understand what it takes to make your design vision a reality. We are looking for a part time packer to join our team

**Job Summary**:
Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment by ensuring all necessary items are present and securely wrapping them according to company standards. Organize goods for pick-up, delivery, or shipping. During delivery and installation, load, transport, and unload furniture. Responsibilities include checking client orders, scheduling deliveries and installs, loading correct items into the truck, planning efficient routes, carrying furniture into clients' spaces, and maintaining a client service mindset throughout the execution of installation.

**Packing/Workroom Responsibilities**:

- Inspect project pack-list to make sure all goods are present
- Manage insert inventory and stuff pillows and cushions to quality standards
- Taking photos of products before wrapping them
- Package and wrap furniture for protection and labeling
- Stack or arrange packaged products in the proper manner in the workroom
- Label packaged products based on company specifications
- Creating shipping labels for UPS, FEDEX, USPS, FullCycle
- Request and coordinate freight with our shipping partners for oversized or long-distance items
- Monitor packing material inventory and relay shortages to the production manager in a timely manner.
- Assist with moving and organizing foam within the studio as needed.
- Assist the head of production with protecting and moving furniture onto shelves
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

**Deliveries**:

- Coordinate delivery schedules (in the NYC and surrounding areas) with clients to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.
- Safely and carefully transporting and delivering items to clients' locations and preventing damages during transit, unloading and placement.
- Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure all items are accounted for and in pristine condition.
- Performing white glove delivery services by providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing client concerns or questions during deliveries.
- Document with photographs delivery processes accurately, including obtaining client signatures and confirming delivery details.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding delivery schedules, client preferences, and any special instructions.

- Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while working alongside colleagues.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Excellent basic math skills and familiarity with building shipping boxes
- Customer service skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use ClickUp and company platform after training period
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS at times
- Must have a driver's license and a van or truck

**Compensation & Schedule**:
Part time: 2 days/week (16 hours) $20/hour
