**DEPARTMENT & POSITION**

The Workplace & Economic Justice Team oversees various projects relating to the prevention of gender-based violence through the development of innovative initiatives to effect change and improve systemic responses related to the following areas: prevention and response to domestic violence, sexual harassment and violence, stalking, and other forms of gender-based violence in the workplace and impacting workers; and economic security, justice, and employment opportunities for survivors, women, and other vulnerable populations.

Reporting to the Vice President of Workplace & Economic Justice, the Associate Director will oversee the Workplaces Respond to Domestic and Sexual Violence National Resource Center, and the Advancing Safety through Employment Rights Project. The Associate Director will help to build collaborative and cross-sector innovative practices and resources related to economic well-being for survivors.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the Workplace Resource Center as well as the Advancing Safety through Employment Rights Project.
- Support the team vision on economic justice and economic opportunities for survivors of gender-based violence.
- Oversee program development, implementation, data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
- Manage and supervise TTA delivery which includes needs assessments, curricula and resources, the provision of trainings and webinars, evaluation, and providing advice on policy and protocol development, while also complying with accessibility guidelines and adhering to values of equity, justice, and inclusion.
- Support the creation of training and education tools including protocols, policies, toolkits, curricula, reports, and other materials.
- Organize convenings while also participating and presenting at relevant coalitions, working groups, advisory councils, and conferences to promote programs.
- Conduct research on topics related to project areas and provide programmatic and policy recommendations.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, including approving contracts and vendor invoices.
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with funders, including preparing project proposals and budgets, securing funding, and liaising with program officers.
- Build and maintain relationships with, and network with relevant organizations, stakeholders, and individuals as necessary to establish internal and external collaborations and for effective implementation of program objectives.
- Supervise two full-time staff and co-supervise two team members who work on other teams.
- Travel approximately 10-25% time.
- Other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**
- J.D. (Juris Doctor degree) required.
- A minimum 10 years’ experience leading initiatives around gender-based violence, workplace protections, workforce development and/or economic security and mobility.
- Experience with project management, with proven success in administering government and/or foundation funded projects.
- Demonstrated track record of program development and implementation.
- Knowledge designing and implementing effective training and technical assistance and curriculum development, instructional design, and use of instructional technology.
- Ability to analyze and communicate workplace data effectively, particularly as it relates to women in the workforce, social safety net programs and other related topics.
- Experience organizing and developing public action campaigns to mobilize individuals a plus.
- Proven track record in cultivating relationships with individual, corporations, foundations, and/or government agencies to build partnerships and collaborations and secure funding for programs.
- Skilled communicator, passionate and persuasive advocate.
- Ability to take initiative, act decisively, work well independently and collaboratively, and roll up your sleeves approach.
- Acute attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time, exempt, grant funded position. is $136,250/year. This salary is based on a standardized compensation structure that is transparent across the organization. Please note that the salary is non-negotiable and like all positions at FUTURES, eligible for step increases as part of our commitment to thriving wages for all staff.
