We are looking for a skilled and experienced Front Office Biller and Receptionist to join our team and support our growing practice.

Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Billing and Insurance Management:

- Process patient billing, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Submit insurance claims promptly and follow up on any outstanding claims.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations as needed.
- Manage accounts receivable, including sending statements and collecting payments.
- Address billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies with insurance companies and patients.

2. Reception and Patient Coordination:

- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently using Open Dental software.
- Maintain the appointment book to optimize the dentist's schedule and reduce patient wait times.
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-ups as necessary.

3. Administrative Support:

- Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies and dental materials.
- Support office management tasks as needed, including filing, scanning, and data entry.

4. Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service to all patients, addressing their concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Communicate effectively with patients about treatment plans, financial options, and office policies.
- Manage patient complaints and feedback to improve service quality.

5. Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Office Biller and Receptionist.
- Ability to bill to Medi-Cal and PPO Insurance(s)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency in both languages required).
- Proficiency in using Open Dental software is a strong plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processing.
