**What you'll do**:

- Develop and execute strategic communications initiatives to increase the awareness of FIGS and effectively convey the Brand's values, mission, and vision.
- Drive the research, planning, development, and measurement of a comprehensive PR program.
- Help shape campaigns and messaging to meet business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, editors, journalists, influencers, and public personalities to secure media coverage and drive positive brand visibility.
- Lead the development of messaging and collateral (press releases, pitches, briefings, etc).
- Develop and pursue opportunities to position FIGS as a thought leader in key areas, including in media profiles, high-impact speaking engagements, and op-eds.
- Track and analyze the performance of brand communication initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and drive strategic communications plans and metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Executive Leadership Team, the Marketing team, and the Advocacy Team, to organize amplification of key messages across channels.
- Manage and coordinate key projects, plans, calendars, research and insights with other teams, and serve as a convener and resource for other teams and leaders.

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years experience in Communications in an agency or in-house (preference for tech / start-up / apparel spaces) with a heavy emphasis on crafting, leading, and driving media relations, PR, and brand communications.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic communications plans and demonstrate successful outcomes.
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership teams and senior management to develop, evaluate, assess, and execute communication strategies.
- Experience building and cultivating relationships with members of the media/press with strong media relations skills and a deep network of media contacts.
- Exceptional written communication skills and impeccable copywriting/editing skills with an ability to succinctly craft pitches, bylines, articles, and press releases.
- Experience in acting as a Brand spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in media interviews.
- Superior presentation and advisory skills, with clear, concise thinking and confidence in delivering feedback to senior leaders on communications strategy in a timely fashion.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

**FIGS Compensation and Benefits**
- Pay Range_
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $160,000 and $210,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
- Additional Compensation and Benefits_
- Equity: All FIGS employees have the opportunity to own shares of FIGS stock through our new-hire equity program. Additionally, FIGS provides a discount when purchasing FIGS stock voluntarily through our FIGS Employee Stock Purchase Plan
