As a result of growth within the organization, EMKAY has an open position for an additional full-time staff member. This is an in-person position, only. EMKAY does not offer options to work from home or hybrid shifts.

**SUMMARY**

The Truck Ordering and Acquisitions Status Specialist role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working with truck dealerships, truck equipment up-fitters, clients, and other EMKAY employees to ensure the best course of action is taken throughout the entire truck ordering and equipment up-fitting process. There are numerous moving parts throughout this process and it’s up to these specialists to keep this process organized and moving. This role requires the employee to maintain records of transactions and provide customer service for the department by performing the following essential functions.

**Note: This is an OJT (On the Job Training) eligible position.**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

*Subject to change based on department and customer needs.
- Maintain computer data files and follow up on all truck status and equipment up-fits with vendors & clients.
- Produce up-fit purchase orders and review the accuracy of body company invoices.
- Assist with reviewing the details, accuracy, and when necessary, editing and correcting truck orders.
- Maintain relationships with daily contacts at body company vendors and up-fitters.
- Learn to spec out and provide price quotes for trucks & upfit equipment for clients.
- Coordinate equipment up-fitting with vendors & maintain information in data files.
- Assist with locating trucks from the dealership's "stock" for purchase.
- Spec out light and medium-duty trucks according to the client's requirements & needs.
- Learn how to answer inquiries from clients, vendors, and EMKAY customer service personnel.
- Must learn how to review vendor billings to include taxes for accuracy and arrange payments.

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- This position requires a team player to interact, research, and respond to requests for information and services from clients and EMKAY employees.
- Requires a self-starter and the ability to work independently handling routine duties.
- To maintain the highest level of customer trust and satisfaction, employees must adhere to department standards at all times.
- Must remain flexible and adaptive to changes within the department and organization.
- Perform special projects and duties as assigned by the department Manager.
- Must be able to routinely operate general office equipment such as computers, scanners, calculators, fax and photocopy machines.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of a High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with trucks and truck equipment preferred.
- Prior automotive fleet leasing, office, and customer service experience is a plus.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
